JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: Responsible for doing complex Structural Linear/Non-Linear/Dynamic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS requiring a deep understanding of static and dynamic structural principles for in-depth support to new product development, VAVE projects, failure analysis and Order/Offers projects. Major Responsibilities: Execute the Structural Linear/Non-Linear/Dynamic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS WB for Power transmission products like Couplings, Bearings, Gearings, Clutches Brakes and Electric motors with minimum reviews. Majorly supporting assembly simulations. Understanding customer needs, define and document scope and approach with appropriate loads and boundary conditions and appropriate acceptance criteria. Planning/executing of FEA requests following proper reviews and giving feasible solutions assuring high quality and timely deliverables with minimum reviews. Automation of repetitive FE tasks. FE results post processing result interpretation and creating good technical reports.
