Location: Ahmedabad (Covering Ahmedabad & Delhi Regions) Industry: Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturing Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Director / Managing Director Job Purpose: To drive sales growth, manage key customer relationships, and expand market share in the assigned regions (Ahmedabad & Delhi) for pharmaceutical machinery products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Drive sales of pharmaceutical machinery across Ahmedabad and Delhi regions. Identify and target new clients, including pharma manufacturers, contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), and formulation plants. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs. Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers. Regularly visit clients for product presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations. Sales Strategy & Planning Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve targets. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and reports. Team Coordination Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, after-sales, installation) for seamless project execution. Provide market feedback to product development and service teams. Competitor Analysis Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings. Suggest counter-strategies and innovative approaches to maintain competitive edge. Sales Administration Manage sales documentation, quotations, tender participation, and contract closures. Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve outstanding issues. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) or relevant field. MBA in Marketing/Sales is a plus. 5–10 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in pharmaceutical machinery (e.g., granulation, tablet press, blister packing, coating machines, etc.). Strong network and understanding of pharma manufacturing units in the assigned territories.
