Job responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell machinery and equipment in regional markets. Identify potential markets and customers by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and understanding customer needs and preferences. Generate leads, establish contact, and negotiate contracts with potential customers, distributors, agents, and partners to expand the customer base and drive sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to enhance customer loyalty and maximize repeat business opportunities. Collaborate with the product development and technical teams to understand product features, specifications, and applications, and effectively communicate these to customers. Provide accurate and timely product information, quotations, and proposals to customers, ensuring that they align with their requirements and budget. Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities, threats, and areas for improvement. Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to showcase products, network with potential clients, and stay updated on industry developments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of sales activities. Required experience, skills and qualifications: - Work experience in Machine Building/ Heavy Equipment Manufacturing/ Heavy Engineering Industry with proven experience in Sales and Marketing of Shot blasting machines, shot peening machines, paint booths, dust collectors and Spares and Abrasives. - Well versed in Excel, Word, PPT and prepare his own training material - Capacity to prepare different kind of reports required by customers (i.e., standard quality report, 8D, new installation report, machine acceptance report) - Project Management, Six Sigma Certification in Customer Service Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Sales team player or a similar role, preferably in the machinery and equipment industry. - In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment, including their applications, technical specifications, and industry standards. - Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners across different cultures and markets. - Familiarity with export regulations, documentation, and logistics procedures. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. - Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently. - Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and other sales-related tools, specifically SAP.
