Job Designation: Regional Sales Manager Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job Description / Responsibilities · Develop sales strategies that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability. · Proactively develop new customer contacts and build long-lasting business relationships. · Secure new business by developing and evaluating and identifying prospective customers and creating a strategy with an action plan to realize the potential of these new business opportunities. · Perform needs analysis to understand and target companies buying needs and objectives. · Manage, orchestrate, and direct proposal presentations, oral presentations, and client meetings. · Maintain billing records of existing clients and retrieve payments.· Achieve sales & booking target month on month for his/her region· Make 3- 4 customer visits/day viz. End Customer, EPC, Consultants & Contractors· Travel outstation – 12-15 days· Competition tracking· Daily customer report/ Monthly report· CRM· MIS reports· New Project tracker and sales funnel Desired profile of the candidate Go getter with a passion for sales In depth knowledge of the South MarketPreferred exposure to the Valves Industry B.E. Mechanical/ Instrumentation is a must
