Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research across the entire fibre-to-fashion spectrum, covering companies, industry trends, trade policies, and global markets. Analyse economic and socio-political factors influencing the textiles and apparel industry and its allied sectors. Develop research-based insights, reports, and strategy papers to support decision-making. Monitor and evaluate trade agreements, non-tariff measures, and their impact on global textile trade. Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities. Prepare high-quality content on emerging industry and trade trends for publications, reports, and presentations. Manage research projects, coordinate with teams and external vendors, and ensure timely execution. Engage with domestic and international clients, understand their research needs, and deliver customized insights and presentations. Required Skills & Expertise: Research & Analytical Abilities: Strong command over industry analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving. Data Analysis & Tools: Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools for research-driven insights. Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable recommendations. Communication & Writing: Expertise in crafting research reports, industry briefings, and strategy documents with clarity and precision. Project & Team Management: Experience in handling large-scale research projects and cross-functional teams. Trade & Policy Understanding: Familiarity with international trade policies, agreements, and regulatory frameworks affecting the textile industry. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations. Preferred Candidate Profile: A proactive and detail-oriented researcher with a passion for the textile and apparel industry, capable of leading thought-driven research and delivering high-impact insights at a global level. Education- Masters degree in Economics, Econometrics, Development Economics, Statistics, or an MBA in International Trade from reputed institutions/universities.
