Position Title: Research Formulator Location: Onsite/Hybrid Reporting To: Founder Company Description About Karmic Beauty: Karmic Beauty is an emerging leader in the organic and natural beauty industry in India, with a mission to redefine self-care through consciously sourced, high-efficacy products that benefit both consumers and the planet. Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and proactive R&D Formulator to manage our new product development. You will work closely with the founder and formulator team in order to help in development of new product through market research, competition comparison etc. Your goal will be to help us establish a product with our vision and values. Key Responsibilities: 1) Survey regarding the ingredients & product chemical formulations and prepare case study for Beauty & Cosmetic Products 2) Study the competition brands and gather data as per requirement regarding their ingredients, formulations & upcoming trends. 3) Query handling & follow up with sample customers for consumer studies & feedback. Key Requirements: • 1-3 years of experience in cosmetic, beauty or wellness field industry. • Strong understanding how to develop good and efficient beauty product • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with different teams. • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • A keen eye for aesthetics and branding in the beauty and lifestyle sector. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharma or a related field. • Experience working with beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands. • Good knowledge of ingredients and formulations.
