Job Title: Level 1Technician // Resident Engineer Company Name : Pro Ventures Location: Calcutta Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The L1 Technician is responsible for providing first-line support to end-users for hardware, software, and basic networking issues. This role serves as the initial point of contact for technical support and works to resolve problems or escalate them to higher-level support if necessary. Below are our Key USPs. We are serving the industry with our prompt and rapid services in all the segments with our fleet of experienced and well-trained Engineers and Services Executives. Key Responsibilities: · Respond to IT support tickets, emails, or calls from users regarding hardware, software, or network issues. · Perform basic troubleshooting and issue resolution for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. · Perform CAT 6 cable crimping and cable fault inspection. · Assist with CCTV camera fixing and configuration. · Support L2 switch diagnosis and basic router configuration. · Conduct network diagnosis and basic infrastructure troubleshooting. · Maintain asset records and update ticketing systems with accurate information. · Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams with proper documentation. · Provide clear and professional communication with users. · Follow IT policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements: · Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. · 1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience. · Basic knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. · Hands-on experience with networking hardware and cabling is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
