Job Description

Job Title: Restaurant Captain Location: Andheri & Lower Parel Job Summary: The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the service team, ensuring guests receive high-quality service and have a pleasant dining experience. The Captain acts as a bridge between the guests and the team, managing table assignments, taking orders, and handling guest concerns with professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and ensure they are seated comfortably. Supervise and guide waiters/waitresses and stewards to ensure high-quality service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar. Recommend menu items, daily specials, and answer questions regarding the menu. Ensure the dining area is clean, well-organized, and properly set up. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Conduct briefings with staff before service to inform them of menu changes or VIP guests. Monitor service standards and ensure adherence to restaurant SOPs. Assist in training new staff and help develop team performance. Check bills and collect payments if required. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times.
