This role requires leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of food and beverage service. Key Responsibilities: Guest Service: Greet guests, present menus, and offer suggestions when needed. Ensure guest satisfaction by overseeing the service process and responding promptly to requests. Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and effective manner. Team Management: Supervise, train, and guide a team of servers to deliver high-quality service. Assign duties and ensure staff are prepared for service (setting up stations, arranging menus, etc.). Motivate and encourage staff to work efficiently and maintain high standards. Service Standards: Ensure that all food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and on time. Monitor the service flow to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Ensure proper presentation of food and beverages according to the restaurant's standards. Operational Management: Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions. Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and prepared for service. Assist in inventory management and ensure stock levels are adequate. Coordination with Kitchen and Bar: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Relay any special instructions or requests to kitchen and bar teams. Financial Responsibility: Ensure that the restaurant operates within budgetary constraints. Handle cash and payment transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing. Promote upselling of menu items and ensure high check averages. Qualifications: Previous experience in a food and beverage or supervisory role (e.g., server, head waiter, or team leader). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, as well as menu offerings. Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during busy service hours. Strong communication skills and fluency in the local language (additional languages are a plus). Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
