Job Description

We are seeking a skilled E-Governance Consultant (Techno-Functional) to support digital transformation initiatives in the public sector. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technology and business processes, ensuring seamless implementation of e-governance solutions. They will work closely with government stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to design, develop, and optimize digital governance platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirement Analysis Strategy Development Collaborate with government departments to understand business needs and regulatory requirements. Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies for e-governance projects. Define functional and technical requirements for digital governance solutions. Develop strategic roadmaps for IT-driven governance initiatives. 2. Solution Design Implementation Assist in the design, development, and deployment of e-governance platforms and applications. Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks for implementation. Ensure interoperability and integration of digital platforms with existing government IT systems. Support in data governance, security, and compliance measures. 3. Project Management Stakeholder Coordination Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and vendors. Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, and development teams. Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for stakeholders. 4. Policy Compliance Advisory Ensure adherence to government policies, guidelines, and cybersecurity standards. Support in drafting policy documents, RFPs, and technical specifications. Assist in data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance initiatives. 5. Performance Monitoring Optimization Track and evaluate the effectiveness of e-governance solutions. Identify areas for improvement and suggest process optimizations. Conduct impact assessments and recommend enhancements. Required Qualifications Experience: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, Management, or a related field . 10+ years of experience in IT consulting, e-governance, or digital transformation projects. Strong understanding of public sector processes, policies, and regulations . Experience in enterprise IT systems, ERP, CRM, or government IT frameworks . Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and digital identity systems . Familiarity with RFP preparation, vendor management, and IT procurement . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
