Rolling Mill Incharge (structural )

Job Description

Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the entire shift operations in the rolling mill Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations Lead, train, and develop a team of operators and technicians Optimize production processes to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions Prepare shift reports documenting production data, quality metrics, and incidents Coordinate with other departments like maintenance, quality control, and stores Ensure proper material handling and inventory management Implement quality control procedures and address quality issues Qualifications- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of experience in steel rolling mill operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Thorough understanding of rolling mill processes and equipment Knowledge of steel grades, rolling parameters, and quality standards Experience with production planning and control systems Strong leadership and team management skills Problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations Skills & Competencies- Technical expertise in rolling mill operations Strong leadership and team management Decision-making under pressure Production planning and scheduling Quality control and assurance Equipment maintenance management Safety management and compliance Effective communication Analytical and problem-solving abilities Working Conditions Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays High-temperature industrial environment Exposure to noise and dust Standing and walking for extended periods May require physical effort Working Conditions Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays High-temperature industrial environment Exposure to noise and dust Standing and walking for extended periods May require physical effort Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Experience: rolling mill: 5 year (Preferred) Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Preferred) Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Fixed shift Morning shift Weekend availability Weekend only Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Shift allowance Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
