Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Rails developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating high-quality code, optimizing performance, and working in an agile environment. Experience with React is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails . Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Collaborate with front-end developers to implement user interfaces. Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and enhance them for responsiveness. Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain high code quality using TDD (Test-Driven Development). Debug and troubleshoot production issues. Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and quality. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience with Ruby on Rails . Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Proficiency in HTML , CSS , and JavaScript . Experience with Git and version control systems. Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API design. Familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and unit testing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku . Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Knowledge of containerisation tools like Docker .
