Preimplantation Genetic Testing: Conduct Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR) with high accuracy to detect genetic abnormalities and improve implantation success rates. Embryo Culture & Monitoring: Oversee embryo development through the culture process, assess embryo quality, and ensure proper handling and growth in culture media. Collaboration: Work closely with fertility specialists, genetic counselors, and other medical professionals to discuss patient treatment plans and contribute to personalized IVF strategies. Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior embryologists and laboratory technicians, fostering continuous improvement in laboratory practices. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of laboratory practices, ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, and oversee quality control procedures. Qualifications:Education: Masters degree in Clinical Embryology, Reproductive Biology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an embryologist with significant involvement in PGT. Skills: In-depth knowledge of PGT techniques, including PGT-A (aneuploidy screening), PGT-M (monogenic disorders), and PGT-SR (structural rearrangements). Proficiency in IVF laboratory procedures, including oocyte collection, fertilization, embryo culture, cryopreservation, and embryo biopsy. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle high-stress situations in a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and interacting with patients.
