Purpose/Objective Job Title : Associate General Manager - Safety Location: Raipur , Korba ( Chattisgarh ) Purpose: The Associate General Manager - Safety will play a crucial role in leading and managing the safety initiatives within the Power/Energy industry. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a culture of safety within the organization. Role & responsibilities : Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors Lead and manage a team of safety professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into operational processes and projects Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and develop action plans to prevent recurrence Provide safety training and education programs for employees at all levels, promoting awareness and accountability Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for senior management Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in safety initiatives Act as a key liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders on safety-related matters Qualifications and Experience Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Engineering, or related field Experience Minimum 20-28 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry Demonstrated track record of successful safety leadership and management Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs
