Leighton India Contractors has an Urgent opening for Manager Safety at Mumbai location.15+ years of experience in HSEQ field. Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is a mustTo ensure the project Health, Safety and Environmental team understand and carry out their responsibilities detailed in the Project Management Plan (PMP”) to meet client’s requirements and satisfy the requirements of ISO45001 and EMS-1400.To develop and implement Heath, Safety & Environmental related training programs to ensure that all LIN staff understand and carry out their responsibilities.To liaise with certification bodies and relevant authorities to ensure all legislative requirements and standards are met.To implement audit programs to ensure the system is implemented effectively.To coordinate the documentation and development of the PMP with regards to the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the project to comply with company’s policies and certification to international standards.To investigate and communicate any accidents/incidents at work site and report to the relevant parties accordingly to prevent recurrence.All their processes are supported by appropriate updated documented procedures that explain how the processes are supposed to be executedPromote an interest and enthusiasm within your required work for health, safety and environment. Self-promote and lead on best practice and act in accordance with the prescribed management system and procedures in fulfilling an injury and incident free working environment.
