Safety Representative

Job Description

Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, unsafe practices, or non-compliance. Support the implementation and monitoring of HSE management systems in accordance with relevant laws and company policies. Deliver safety induction and training programs for employees and contractors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations. Maintain safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, permits, and incident reports. Assist in emergency response planning and conduct regular drills. Participate in risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and method statement reviews. Promote a strong safety culture through campaigns, toolbox talks, and visible leadership. Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Coordinate with regulatory bodies for audits, certifications, or compliance issues.
