Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager Industry: Agriculture, Farming & Construction Equipment Product Focus: Electric Trolleys (E-KART) – Customised, Eco-Friendly Transport Solutions Location: Across Tamil Nadu & Coimbatore Reporting To: Head of Business Development / Managing Director Experience: 5+ Years in Sales & Marketing (Agriculture, Farming, or Construction Equipment domain preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager with a proven track record in the agriculture, farming, and construction equipment industry to lead the promotion and sales of our innovative electric trolleys (E-KART) product line. The ideal candidate must possess a strong existing network, deep market insights, and the ability to drive business growth in rural and semi-urban markets. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets for E-KART products across target regions. Market Development: Identify and tap into potential customer segments including farmers, agri-input dealers, co-operatives, construction contractors, and rural transport operators. Networking & Relationship Management: Leverage existing relationships and build new ones with dealers, distributors, government bodies, and institutional buyers. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a small team of field sales executives (if applicable) to drive grassroots-level sales. Promotional Activities: Plan and execute marketing campaigns including on-ground demos, exhibitions, digital marketing, and rural activation programs. Product Feedback & Customization: Work closely with the product and technical teams to gather customer feedback and contribute to the ongoing customization and improvement of E-KART offerings. Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree or MBA Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in agriculture/farming equipment, construction tools/machinery, or EV-based utility vehicles. Strong professional network within rural/agricultural and construction sectors . Good understanding of electric vehicle technology and rural logistics applications is a plus. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories. Preferred Candidate Attributes: Experience with dealer/distributor network management . Knowledge of government subsidy programs , tenders, or financing options in the EV/ agri /construction domain.
