ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY Develop and implement sales strategy for the entire sales funnel of a new product launch, from lead generation through to closing. Booking & conducting on-site pilot tests at bakeries, restaurants and other food service establishments in Pune to understand potential barriers to product adoption. Build and maintain prospective client relationships with chefs, bakers and food sector managers, through networking, calling and market research. Collaboration with management to create company-wide sales processes. Provide insights and recommendations to improve the product offering and market positioning. Collaborate with senior management to share findings and inform the innovation process. Track, record and report on sales performance and progress with customer data and actionable insights Encourage a conversion of trial candidates into paying regular customers. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Extensive face-to-face sales experience is essential. Preference for candidates with experience in the food, catering or baking sectors and new products to market Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills in English, Marathi and/or Hindi, with the ability to engage effectively with industry professionals. Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic team Must be willing to travel to various locations within the Pune region. Bachelors in business administration, marketing or related field.
