Job Description

Sales Business Partner (SBP) plays a critical role in aligning sales performance with financial goals and ensuring that sales strategies are financially sound and sustainable. This role act as a strategic advisor to both the sales and finance teams, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to derive revenue growth and profitability. Role and responsibilities 1. Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for sales Analyze sales performance against financial targets (e.g. revenue, margin, profitability). Identify variances and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes. 2. Sales performance monitoring and reporting Track and report circle Profit and loss statement along with key sales metrics (e.g., revenue, margin, profitability). Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and financial reports. Provide regular financial insights to sales leadership to guide decision-making. 3. Pricing and Deal structuring Partner with sales teams to develop pricing strategies that align with financial targets. Evaluate the financial impact of large deals, discounts, and promotions. Ensure that sales contracts and deals are structured to maintain profitability. 4. Cost and profitability analysis Analyze the cost structure of sales activities and recommend ways to improve margins. Identify high-performing and low-performing products or services. Provide insights into customer and product profitability. 5. Strategic Business Partnering Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team on financial matters Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align sales strategies with financial objectives. Provide financial guidance on market expansion, new product launches, and customer acquisition strategies. Skills and Qualifications: Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. Deep understanding of sales processes and financial principles. Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, Power BI, Oracle etc.) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence sales and business leaders with data-driven insights. Problem-solving mindset with a strategic approach
