Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to expand our footprint in the South Market, especially in Bangalore, focusing on general industry, automotive OEMs, and Tier 1 customers. The ideal candidate will drive new business development, manage presales and commercial activities, and build strong relationships with customers and partners. Key Responsibilities: Identify and generate new business opportunities by discovering inquiries, system integrators, and end users in the general industry and automotive sectors in South India, particularly Bangalore. Manage presales activities including inquiry generation, price and payment negotiation, delivery control, payment collection, and invoicing. Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, system integrators, distributors, and other stakeholders. Conduct sales and promotional activities aligned with company budgets and strategic goals. Commit to achieving challenging annual targets for quantity, revenue, and profit, focusing on both new and existing customers. Serve as the primary contact for customer hospitality and communications, especially with general industry and Tier 1 customers. Uphold company values such as punctuality, discipline, integrity, and mutual respect internally and externally. Develop partner relationships and identify new partner opportunities in the general industry sector. Propose and implement innovative sales ideas, promotional tools, and digital marketing strategies to enhance market presence. Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activities during weekly and monthly reviews. Collect and communicate market feedback and customer expectations to inform sales strategies. Coordinate sales efforts across the South region and act as a key sales contributor. Drive digital marketing and other strategic marketing initiatives to boost Kawasaki Robot visibility in India. Maintain excellent professional communication to avoid conflicts and foster collaboration among internal teams, customers, and partners. Profile Expectations: Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with 47 years of proven experience in business development or sales within robotics, automotive spot welding guns, or related equipment. Strong understanding of commercial sales processes and requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Proficient communication and negotiation skills, fluent in Hindi and English. Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong interpersonal, report writing, and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Willingness and ability to travel extensively to engage with customers and partners.
