Job Title: Sales Engineer Location: Work from Home ; Kolkata or Navi Mumbai not limited to the location (Extensive Field Travel Required) or willing to move to Visakhapatnam, India (Extensive Field Travel Required) Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 3 to 5 years in capital equipment sales, specifically within the steel or heavy industrial sector About Zetko: Zetko is a leading provider of German-engineered machinery for the steel and iron-making industry, proudly manufacturing in India since 1990. We specialize in custom-designed mechanical systems that reduce downtime and enhance safety in steel plants. Our debricking and refractory demolition equipment is engineered for maximum performance in harsh steelmaking environments. About the Role: We are looking for a mechanically inclined Sales Engineer with hands-on experience in B2B capital equipment sales to drive business development for our Debricking Equipment product line . The ideal candidate must be highly self-driven, capable of traveling extensively, and comfortable with direct industrial sales no dealer or contractor-based sales. Key Responsibilities: Lead direct B2B sales of Zetkos Debricking Equipment to steel and heavy industries Visit steel plants and industrial clients for technical presentations, demonstrations , and site assessments Develop and execute territory-based sales plans , maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospects Understand client requirements and suggest appropriate custom machinery solutions Liaise with internal design, service, and support teams for proposal generation and project delivery Prepare technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD where required Maintain regular follow-ups and build strong relationships with purchase, operations, and maintenance departments in target companies Monitor industry trends and provide feedback to product and design teams Represent Zetko at trade shows, expos, and on-site demos Qualifications: Diploma/ B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering 37 years of experience in capital machinery or mechanical equipment sales Proven experience in B2B field sales to steel plants or similar manufacturing industries Must have visited steel industry sites and understood plant operations Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial applications AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory Willingness and ability to travel extensively across regions for field sales Key Skills: Mechanical aptitude and industrial solutioning Strong communication and technical presentation skills Field sales planning and execution Client relationship management Self-discipline and independence Technical drawing and AutoCAD usage Understanding of plant safety protocols and industrial operations
