Job Title: Sales Executive Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Sales Manager (or Director of Sales & Marketing) Location: Jaipur Job Summary The Sales Executive is an entry to mid-level sales role responsible for actively supporting the sales team in achieving revenue goals for the hotel/resort. This role involves generating leads, assisting in client relationship management, preparing sales materials, and focusing on acquiring new business within assigned market segments or client portfolios. The Sales Executive is a proactive and enthusiastic individual eager to learn and grow within the hospitality sales industry. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Support:  Assist the Sales Manager in identifying and researching potential new clients and market segments.  Conduct outbound prospecting activities (cold calls, emails, social media outreach) to generate new leads.  Qualify leads and set appointments for the Sales Manager or conduct initial sales calls for smaller accounts.  Prepare and customize sales proposals, presentations, and contracts under the guidance of the Sales Manager.  Conduct site inspections and hotel tours for prospective clients.  Follow up on sales inquiries and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) in a timely and professional manner.  Participate in sales blitzes and local networking events to promote the hotel/resort.  Stay updated on hotel/resort facilities, services, pricing, and ongoing promotions. Client Relationship Management:  Build and maintain initial relationships with prospective clients.  Assist in managing a portfolio of existing smaller accounts, ensuring their needs are met.  Respond to client inquiries and provide information about the hotel/resort.  Coordinate with the Front Office, Reservations, and other operational departments to ensure seamless client experience for confirmed bookings. Administrative & Reporting:  Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and sales activities in the CRM system (e.g., IDS, Opera).  Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports and forecasts.  Assist in preparing sales presentations, marketing collateral, and other sales tools.  Process sales-related paperwork and ensure proper documentation.  Conduct market research and competitor analysis as directed by the Sales Manager.  Attend regular sales meetings and provide updates on sales activities and pipeline.  Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:  Develop a strong understanding of the hotel's/resort's unique selling propositions, facilities, and services.  Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.  Understand the needs of various market segments (social, corporate, MICE, leisure, etc.) to tailor sales approaches. Qualifications  Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.  Experience Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related service industry. Fresh graduates with a strong sales aptitude and relevant internships will also be considered. Experience in lead generation and customer interaction is a plus.  Skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills. Basic negotiation skills (or willingness to learn and develop). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., IDS, Opera) is an advantage. Good organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude. Valid driver's license (if required for client visits).  Personal Attributes Professional demeanor and appearance. Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Customer-focused with a passion for hospitality. Resilient and able to handle rejection. Working Conditions  Primarily office-based, with regular local travel for client meetings, site inspections, and networking events.  May occasionally require participation in evening or weekend events (e.g., trade Shows, Client Functions).  Standard business hours, with some flexibility required based on client needs.
