Role & responsibilities: In Pine Labs, the Field Sales Executive (FOS) is responsible for expanding the company's merchant network and promoting its payment solutions. The primary responsibilities of an FOS include: Merchant Acquisition : Identifying and onboarding new merchants to broaden the company's ecosystem. Solution Customization : Assessing merchants' specific needs and offering tailored solutions, such as Point-of-Sale (POS) devices, customer loyalty programs, analytics tools, billing and inventory management systems, working capital options, and digital payment services. Sales Execution : Engaging in door-to-door visits to understand merchant challenges, building trust, and effectively closing deals. Market Intelligence : Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities to provide valuable insights for product enhancement. Process Adherence : Strictly following company processes for merchant acquisition, onboarding, compliance, and documentation. Preferred candidate profile: A successful FOS at Pine Labs typically has 2 to 6 years of experience in frontline sales roles, particularly in fintech, banking, financial services, IT solutions, or related sectors. An MBA in Marketing or a background in Engineering, Commerce, or Science is often preferred.
