Job Description

Job Summary: The General Trade Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, maintaining strong relationships with customers, and promoting company products in the general trade market, which includes retail kirana stores, supermarkets, retail chains and other partners in the traditional retail channel. This role requires meeting sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Ability to meet or exceed sales targets regularly. Develop and execute a sales plan for the assigned territory or market segment to achieve sales targets. Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the general trade Ensure consistent and timely follow-up with existing clients to drive repeat business and resolve any issues. Conduct regular visits to customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities. Securing favorable deals and pricing terms with customers. Work with the logistics team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries to customers. Monitor stock levels at retail points and proactively work with customers to prevent stockouts or excess inventory. Address any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Contact clients to ensure the collection of payments. Establish and maintain a clear line of communication regarding payment due dates and ensure payments are made on time.
