About Mintifi We are a fast-growing, profitable, Series-D fintech company building India's first data-driven supply chain financing platform. We are funded by marquee investors including Premji Invest, Norwest Venture Partners, Elevation Capital, IFC (World Bank) and Lok Capital. We are solving a huge problem of inefficient and costly access to credit for millions of Indian distributors and retailers using data-driven credit models. We are disrupting the supply chain lending landscape in India in partnership with blue-chip companies by digitizing the end-to-end processes, enabling quicker decision making and higher operational efficiencies by using technology, and making effective front-end interfaces on both mobile and web to make lending a smooth experience. We are a systematically important RBI-regulated NBFC with a strong balance sheet. Position Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in promoting and selling our Supply Chain Finance product. As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing sales deals for our supply chain finance solutions. Responsibilities: 1) Sales Execution: - Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. - Understand client requirements and tailor the Supply Chain Finance product offering to meet their specific needs. - Present pricing, terms, and conditions to clients and negotiate agreements to close sales deals. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new clients. 2) Relationship Management: - Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention. - Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly. - Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to identify additional opportunities and upsell/cross-sell our products. 3) Sales Reporting and Analysis: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. - Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. - Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 4) Market Intelligence: - Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. - Continuously enhance product knowledge and remain well-informed about supply chain finance concepts and practices. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. - Proven track record of at least 4 years in sales, preferably in the banking / distribution sector (FMCG/FMCD/Paints/Wires/Batteries/Tyres, etc) / BFSI sector. - Understanding of supply chain finance or working capital solutions is desirable. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas. - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. - Comfortness in using CRM software and other sales tools. - Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
