Role & responsibilities - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals within the freight forwarding segment. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to expand business. - Identify and target potential new clients within the freight forwarding industry. - Lead a team of sales professionals to drive sales performance and meet targets. - Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay competitive. - Collaborate with other departments such as operations and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. - Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management. - Provide training and support to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's services and expand the client base.
