Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager – Domestic (Solar Sales) to join our team and lead solar business growth in Gurgaon and the surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domestic solar sales, proven experience in the rooftop segment, and a clear understanding of customer acquisition, solution design, and project closure in the Indian solar industry. Key Responsibilities: Drive B2C and B2B sales for rooftop and on-site solar PV systems in the domestic market. Generate leads and develop relationships with residential clients, real estate developers, housing societies, commercial establishments, and institutions. Provide consultative selling based on site analysis, energy needs, and ROI calculations. Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys, solution proposals, and project estimations. Manage full sales cycle – from lead generation to closure and project handover. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Stay updated with MNRE policies, DISCOM regulations, and subsidy frameworks. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and client records using CRM tools. Work Experience: 5–7 years of experience in solar sales, with at least 5 years in domestic solar sales. Required: Must be based in Gurgaon or ready to relocate immediately. Solid understanding of solar system design, pricing, government incentives, and financial modeling. Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office. Preferred Attributes: Existing client network in the Gurgaon and Delhi NCR solar market. Experience working with EPC contractors or channel partners. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or Business; MBA is a plus. Compensation: Competitive than market standards.
