Job description Full job description About Kowju Airport Hotel Calicut: Kowju Airport Hotel, a new 4* hotel in Calicut, is set to provide unparalleled convenience for airport travelers and corporate guests. With 35 elegantly designed rooms and suites, a swimming pool, on-site restaurant, and banquet hall, Kowju Airport Hotel offers a blend of sophistication and ease for a luxurious stay near the airport. Key Responsibilities: - MICE Business Development: Generate and manage inquiries for MICE events and develop long-term relationships with corporate clients. - Wedding & Group Sales: Drive sales for weddings and special events, managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. - Travel Agent Network : Build and nurture a robust network of travel agents to drive business and sales through third-party channels. - Sales & Networking Activities : Participate in travel fairs, site visits, and corporate meetings to generate new business opportunities and strengthen industry connections. - Achieve Sales Targets: Work towards achieving and exceeding the targets set by management, focusing on increasing hotel occupancy and revenue. - Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Sales & Reservation team to deliver high-performance results. - Forecasting & Market Analysis: Provide regular sales forecasts and contribute to strategic planning aimed at improving hotel occupancy and revenue growth. - New Market Development: Identify new market opportunities and generate sales in untapped regions. - Negotiation & Closing Deals: Effectively negotiate with clients, particularly for wedding groups and large events, ensuring successful deal closure. - Collaboration with Operations: Coordinate closely with the hotel operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. - Corporate Client Engagement: Regularly visit corporate clients to maintain and grow relationships. - Travel Packages: Create and promote attractive travel packages for distribution through travel agents and other sales channels. - GSA Identification: Identify and develop relationships with General Sales Agents (GSAs) in key regions to drive sales growth. Skills & Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Sales within the hospitality industry. - Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. - Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels. - Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Goa tourism and hospitality market, with a strong network of industry contacts. - Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to meet or exceed sales targets. - Experience Location: Calicut / Kozhikode area - Residency: Must be a resident of Calicut/Malappuram Why Join Us?
