As we expand, we are looking for a passionate Sales Manager to lead our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in driving our business forward, particularly in the U.S. market. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and optimize the performance of our SDR team based in India. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who is passionate about sales strategy, team development, and executing high-impact processes. The Sales Manager will be responsible for team performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and creating a culture of success in the SDR team. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management : Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing SDR team, based in India, to drive U.S. market expansion. Create a collaborative and growth-driven environment, providing consistent coaching and development to the team. Set clear expectations, performance goals, and lead by example to inspire the team to exceed targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement necessary actions for team growth and improvement. Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and execute sales strategies for the SDR team that align with company goals and expand market presence in the U.S. Manage team performance through KPIs, ensuring regular achievement of activity and conversion targets (calls, emails, leads, meetings). Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt the sales approach for maximum effectiveness. Pipeline Management and Lead Generation : Guide the SDR team in generating high-quality leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods. Oversee the qualification of prospects to ensure high-potential leads are passed to Account Executives. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient transition from prospecting to sales closure. Sales Process Optimization : Regularly evaluate and enhance sales processes, using data-driven insights to optimize lead conversion rates and improve team efficiency. Ensure that SDRs are using CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) effectively, and track outreach activities and lead progress. Coaching and Development : Provide ongoing one-on-one coaching to SDRs, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Deliver regular sales training, focusing on product knowledge, communication strategies, and effective outreach techniques. Help SDRs grow their careers within the company by offering clear developmental paths and growth opportunities. Motivation and Culture Building : Foster a high-performance culture where individual achievements are recognized, and the team is motivated to hit sales goals. Develop incentive programs, gamification, and recognition strategies to keep team morale high. Organize team-building activities and foster a positive, engaging team environment. Data Analysis and Reporting : Monitor team performance and sales data, providing regular reports to leadership with actionable insights. Track sales metrics such as calls made, emails sent, demos scheduled, and conversion rates. Identify trends and adjust strategies to optimize the SDR team's efforts for maximum results. Client Relationship and Collaboration : Support SDRs in building and nurturing long-term relationships with prospects. Provide support in addressing client concerns and ensuring the team delivers superior client experience. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of messaging, offers, and customer satisfaction. Budget and Resource Management : Oversee the SDR team's budget and ensure that resources are being allocated effectively to maximize ROI. Manage costs while ensuring the team has the tools and resources needed to succeed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in leading a Sales Development function. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams. Deep understanding of sales strategies, pipeline management, and performance metrics. Solid background in using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and analyzing sales data. Experience with lead generation, prospecting, and sales qualification processes. Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Previous experience in B2B sales and/or energy-efficient products is a plus.
