Salesforce Developer(Level 2 & Level 3)

Job Description

Citizens Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer (Level 2&3) to lead the design, development, and integration of scalable Salesforce solutions across critical business functions. This role involves end-to-end solution delivery, mentorship of junior developers, and close collaboration with stakeholders to implement advanced customizations that support strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Apex , Lightning Web Components (LWC) , and Salesforce platform architecture , along with a strong understanding of enterprise-level integrations and data management within the Salesforce ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Salesforce custom applications using Apex , LWC , Visualforce , and declarative tools Lead the technical implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security Manage complex integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs , middleware, and custom connectors Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and architecture Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and enforce Salesforce best practices and coding standards Guide and mentor junior developers and provide technical oversight for project deliverables Manage deployment pipelines and version control using tools like Git , Copado , or Gearset Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and release processes Ensure compliance with data governance , security policies , and industry regulations (especially in the financial domain) Required Skills & Qualifications: 3-9+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments Strong expertise in Apex , Lightning Web Components (LWC) , SOQL/SOSL , and Salesforce APIs Experience with Salesforce integration frameworks and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) Deep understanding of Salesforce data modeling , security models , and platform limitations Proficient in CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git , Bitbucket , and SFDX Experience delivering projects in Agile/Scrum teams Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Platform Developer II , Salesforce Architect , or other advanced certifications Experience with Sales Cloud , Service Cloud , or Financial Services Cloud Previous experience in banking or financial services environments Familiarity with DevOps practices for Salesforce and tools like Copado or AutoRABIT Exposure to data migration , governance , and compliance in regulated industries
