Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our Marketing Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scalable solutions and strategies that align with our marketing goals, enhancing customer engagement, and optimizing campaign performance. Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Architect end-to-end solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and related Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud). Define and implement SFMC best practices, including data modeling, contact strategy, automation, and integration. Lead the technical design of marketing campaigns using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Advertising Studio. Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Design and oversee data integration between Marketing Cloud and external systems (CRM, websites, mobile apps). Guide the implementation of API-based integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. Ensure security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) standards are met in all marketing initiatives. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to developers, administrators, and other team members. Stay current with SFMC innovations and recommend strategic improvements to existing architectures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem with at least 3 years dedicated to Marketing Cloud. Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex SFMC solutions. Expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Mobile Studio. Strong understanding of data modeling and segmentation within SFMC. Hands-on experience with SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS. Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations. Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Developer, or Architect) strongly preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud). Knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Datorama, Tableau). Experience with CDP (Customer Data Platform) or other customer data management tools. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
