Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Career Level - C2 Introduction to role Are you ready to design, develop, deploy, and monitor campaigns using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform? As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will collaborate with MCRM PM to clarify requirements and ensure campaigns are built to meet business outcomes. You will review campaign builds, test trigger events, and raise issues or improvement opportunities to the Campaign Operations Team Lead. Collaborate regularly with the Email/Content Build Team, Systems Team, Reporting Team, and Email PMs to ensure all tasks related to a campaign are thoroughly thought through during the campaign life cycle. Accountabilities Design, develop, and deliver Marketing Automation studio solutions using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Platform, including Audience Builder , Content Builder , Journey Builder , Cloud Pages, and SMS-based campaigns. Deep understanding of data modeling, integration architectures, and data governance best practices. Collaborate with client collaborators to understand requirements, work, and set, manage, and document expectations. Translate client requirements in detail to understand technical and functional documentation. Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation. Build solutions that apply out-of-the-box features and modules and customize according to the requirement in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Experience on Website and mobile app event tracking, API integrations, and SDKs. Experience on Salesforce connectors, Code languages (incl. Apex and JavaScript), knowledge of JSON data structure, and should be excellent with SQL and SOQL. Awareness of developing AMP scripts in journey builder or profile segmentation. Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and standard processes. Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture. Engage with customers to evaluate and recommend optimization strategies for technical architecture, dev/ops, performance, and solution design specific to Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud. Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes focusing on data integration architecture. Essential Skills/Experience 3 to 5 years of experience in SFMC (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Interaction Studio, Einstein, Automation studio etc.) Experience in gathering and documenting requirements for marketing applications Full life cycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies. Good communication skills in both verbal and written English Strong customer service focus Engaging and friendly personality Collaborative, flexible and a great teammate Desirable Skills/Experience Experience with marketing campaign design and implementation and/or with brand teams, completing promotions or campaigns.
