Salesforce Release Engineer

Job Description: Candidate will be part of a fast-paced technology team supporting Salesforce implementations for Healthcare products and services Job Responsibilities: Release Planning and Coordination: Plan, schedule, and manage Salesforce release activities across various environments, including development, testing, and production. Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners, Salesforce developers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful releases. Maintain and manage the Salesforce release calendar. Release Execution: Execute Salesforce releases, including metadata and data migrations, code deployments, and configuration changes. Monitor and troubleshoot release-related issues, ensuring quick resolution. Change Management: Manage change requests and ensure that all changes are properly documented and approved before deployment. Implement change control processes to ensure the stability and integrity of the Salesforce environment. Post-deployment: Support post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes. Compliance: Ensure that Salesforce releases comply with all relevant regulations, including data security, regulatory standards, and audit trails. Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and Apex code. Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Salesforce DX, Change Sets, ANT Migration Tool). Experience with Branching Strategy tools (e.g. Github) Excellent project management skills Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for Salesforce. Preferred Qualification: Graduate from a leading institute with experience in an SFDC application development / support or admin role Has worked in at least one medium to large application development and support project leveraging Salesforce Should be able to maintain high energy for extended periods of time. Moves fast when required. Desire to work with latest tools and technologies. Certified Salesforce Administrator
