Job DescriptionJob Title: Area Sales Manager Products: Must have experience in sales of V-Belts / Bearings / Coupling / Chains / Power Transmission Products Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Hubli / Kochi / Ahmedabad / Jamshedpur / Ranchi / Patna / KolkataEducation:B-Tech Mechanical or a related Engineering field plus MBA is preferred.Age: 28 - 35 YearsExperience:Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience as area manager in the industrial, agriculture, or automotive sectors, with a focus on V-belts, bearing and power transmission products.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in a area manager role.Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and expand market share.Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.Prepare annual sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.2. Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial, agriculture, and automotive sectors.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners.3. Team Management:Lead, manage, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.Provide training, coaching, and support to sales representatives to enhance their performance.Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.4. Market and Competitor Analysis:Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform sales strategies and tactics.Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market.5. Customer Relationship Management:Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.Develop and execute customer engagement initiatives to enhance loyalty.6. Product Knowledge and Training:Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product range, including V-belts and power transmission products.Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers and sales team members.Stay updated on product developments and technological advancements.7. Sales Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular sales reports, including sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis.Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.Present findings and recommendations to senior management.8.
