Role & responsibilities Manage daily operation activities (Order and customer management) and work procedures.Provide quotations as requested by a direct inquiry from customers.Efficiently handle customers complaints & requirements and recommend corrective action plans.Overseeing operations related with custom clearance, freight forwarding and negotiationsInteracting and monitoring custom clearance, Shipping Line and Overseas Agent.Build and maintain close relationship with customers, operations, sales, and accounts department.Monitoring shipments status on carrier web site and updating the milestones to customer.Ensure shipment requirements are met and jobs are completed within the prescribed KPI limits.Supervise work of all team members and provide appropriate training as needed to ensure achievement of all set goals.Set expectations on task completion and ensure tasks are completed prior to set deadlines and evaluate performance.Validate delivery of export documents are timely and accurate first time.Responsible for correct and timely provision of all freight documentation to customers.Developing new vendors, building vendor relationships, and managing processes with vendors.Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree/Post graduate diploma/MBAAt least 5 years of experience in forwarding operation and 2 years in supervisory position.Result oriented, pro-active and possess a positive work attitude.Preferably Supervisor or Senior Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.Knowledge of Customs/ Shipping line / Airlines.Knowledge of Air / Ocean Freight & Contract Logistics will be a definite advantage.Knowledge of sales.Understand diversity and working with different cultures.Able to handle staff and handle branch Independent.Able to work in an agile in a fast-paced working environment. Must be a strong teamplayer, hardworking, work on demand & hand-on.
