Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience in native SAP HANA development and a strong understanding of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing HANA-based solutions, performance optimization, and data integration through BODS. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex data transformation and analytics projects while leveraging the latest SAP technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize native SAP HANA database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions. Build high-performance SQL scripts, Stored procedures, and queries for HANA applications and perform performance tuning for HANA-based solutions. Implement advanced data models and leverage HANA-specific features (e.g., CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA Studio). Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with SAP systems. Utilize SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to integrate data from various sources into HANA. Develop and enhance data workflows and data transformation logic using BODS. Perform data migration, cleansing, and validation using BODS, ensuring accurate and high-quality data. Work on HANA replication, data orchestration, and integration tasks with both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing HANA models, workflows, and BODS jobs. Create technical documentation and maintain best practices for HANA development and data integration. Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of HANA-based solutions. Provide technical support and problem resolution for post-implementation issues and enhancements. Ensure compliance with SAP security and data privacy standards. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA development, including native HANA objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc.). Strong experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP HANA database objects. Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and data integration using BODS. Experience with HANA tools such as HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit for development and administration tasks. Experience with HANA XS and SAP HANA Cloud is a plus. Familiarity with integrating HANA with other SAP systems like SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and third-party data sources. Knowledge on Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP HANA XS Advanced (XS Advanced and XS Classic) in a Cloud Foundry environment. Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases and data transformation techniques. Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Ability to create technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of SAP's security framework and data governance best practices. Desirable: Experience with SAP HANA Modeling using Graphincal and Scripted views. Experience in HANA SQL - Stored Procedures & Table Functions, Triggers, Functions, Creating Tables and Views using SQL Knowledge on Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP HANA XS Advanced (XS Advanced and XS Classic) in a Cloud Foundry environment. Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA and BW integration with SAP HANA. Knowledge on Reporting tools like - Analysis for Office (AO) or Tableau Familiarity with other SAP tools and technologies such as SAP Data Intelligence, SAP BusinessObjects, and SAP Analytics Cloud. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or SAP Cloud Platform. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
