For its R&D center in Hyderabad, Carrier is looking for a talented SAP MDG program manager. Program Manager SAP MDG (P4) Location : Hyderabad/Bangalore, India Primary Responsibilities: The Program Manager will report to the Data and Integration CoE leader, and is in a key position in a global organization, delivering value to the business and extended digital team while maintaining a clear view of the Master Data COE mission and what needs to get done. Program Managers represent the stakeholders and act autonomously to communicate the right vision of the product/s within their Pod while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders (customers / commercial / plant / internal sponsors). The Program Manager works closely with the distributed COE Product Managers and is responsible for introducing and managing Epics / Stories / Defects within the teams backlog, decomposing requirements, and defining a definition of success that represents the vision of the organization. He/She is a member of the scrum team, actively participates in sprints, and is consistently available to team members for questions, clarity, and understanding using exemplary writing skills for user stories to curate the product backlog. The position requires active grooming and prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring the highest-value items are being delivered in a timely manner. The Program Manager is responsible for the r short-term roadmap and interfacing with stakeholders. This position requires strong people skills and a good understanding of the integration products. Leads teams during project initiation, planning, blueprinting, realization, go live, and hyper-care phases of the implementation. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with functional owners. Uses deep technical and process knowledge to drive engagement. Manages external implementation partners, software vendors, and service providers. Participates in developing requests for proposals/quotes, and works to develop project proposals and statements of work. Demonstrates broad project leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of the immediate team and drives change. Manage ongoing operations to ensure solutions are performing as expected and meeting or exceeding expectations. Proven track record and experience in implementing SAP MDG with large global enterprises across multiple legal entities in highly complex systems and project environments. Strong understanding of MDG/MDM processes and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization. Experienced in SAP MDG implementation on top of S/4 Hana for SAP ERP systems Finance Understanding and experience in setting up baseline configurations, relevant BC Set(s) activation, Data Modelling enhancements, UI Model enhancements, Process Modelling, Workflow configuration, DIF, and DRF Ability to work on migration of an existing master data into MDG hub, Validation & Derivation using BADIs and BRF+ Extensively worked on Web Services/SOA manager configuration for search, retrieve, and replicate scenarios Knowledge on Integration of MDG with Fiori In-depth knowledge of CVI, Key mapping, and Value mapping. Experience: Minimum 10+ years of SAP Master Data Governance should have 4 full lifecycle implementation experience in MDG. Should have deep expertise on SAP- MDG E2E configurations. Expertise in the Implementation of SAP MDG solutions. Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement global data standards and global technical/process solutions. Excellent analytical abilities, organization, and project/process management skills. Ability to convey vision through conversations/meetings/office tools. Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and self-motivation. Comfortable meeting customers and partners. Strong interpersonal skills: the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization. Effective formal presentation and facilitation skills in a variety of settings. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, SAFe), and an in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles would be an advantage. Planning and problem-solving with product management and delivery teams. Competencies: Domain knowledge of Master Data Governance Supplier, Customer, and Finance data. Works effectively in a globally distributed team setting in both Office, Remote. Documented experience in Product Ownership. Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize. Manage several activities in parallel. Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Able to translate customer and business needs into technical solutions. Change Agent. Education: Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
