SAP MM Consultant

Job Description

Role & responsibilities SAP MM implementation and support projects , including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, and deployment. Configure and customize SAP MM module to align with business requirements. Handle Procurement (Procure-to-Pay - P2P) processes , including Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Contracts, and Scheduling Agreements . Manage Inventory Management (IM) processes such as goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, and physical inventory management . Ensure seamless integration of MM with FI (Financial Accounting), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and WM (Warehouse Management) . Define and manage Automatic Account Determination and Valuation Class settings. Support Master Data Management (Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchase Info Records, Source Lists, Quota Arrangements). Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM-related issues in both implementation and support environments. Develop functional specifications for custom reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. Configure and manage Release Strategies for Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders . Provide end-user training and ensure successful UAT (User Acceptance Testing) . Work closely with the technical team (ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and Basis) for enhancements and workflow solutions. Perform cutover planning and go-live support in implementation projects. Support SAP MM enhancements in S/4HANA transformation projects . Preferred candidate profile 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM module with strong implementation and support exposure. Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementation . Strong understanding of Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics Invoice Verification . Experience in SAP MM configuration, troubleshooting, and support . Knowledge of integration with SAP FI, SD, PP, and WM modules . Experience in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and Automatic PO processes . Expertise in Batch Management, Serial Number Management, and Consignment Processing . Familiarity with IDocs, EDI, and interface handling . Ability to create functional specifications for WRICEF objects . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders. Knowledge of SAP Best Practices and Business Process Optimization .
