L3 SAP MM Consultant. Summary : We are seeking an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant – L3 with a strong background in S/4HANA Public & Private Cloud implementations , core MM functionalities , and S/4 HANA Sourcing & Procurement . This is a senior-level role, requiring hands-on expertise in solution design, configuration, data migration and integration with business processes. The ideal candidate will lead client engagements, drive process transformation, and ensure delivery excellence across MM-related modules in public cloud environments. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 6 - 8 years of SAP MM consulting experience. At least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud Implementations. At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Implementations . Deep expertise in SAP Public Cloud configuration using SSCUIs, CBC and Fiori apps . Strong knowledge of SAP MM-Procurement processes , Inventory Management , and Sourcing . Demonstrated ability to lead Data Migration strategy and execution for MM. Familiar with Best Practices, Activate Methodology, and Fit-to-Standard analysis. Integration knowledge with FI (MIRO, LIV), SD (intercompany, STOs), and Ariba (preferred). Understanding of India GST, tax procedure (TAXINN), and SAC codes (preferred for India rollouts). Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to liaise with ABAP teams to define, test, and manage custom development for business-critical gaps. Train team members of core and advanced Sourcing & Procurement topics. Validate technical specifications for enhancements in collaboration with ABAP/BTP teams. Review code logic tied to BADIs/BAPIs impacting MM to ensure robust and maintainable custom developments. Mentor team members on extensibility patterns, testing strategies, and debugging tools. Ability to review/debug technical enhancements impacting MM transactions. Experience managing technical-functional integration with SD, FI, EWM, and Ariba systems. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture Lead end-to-end solution design for S/4HANA Public Cloud MM projects, ensuring alignment with best practices. Drive fit-gap analysis, scope validation, and architecture decisions for Sourcing & Procurement processes. Collaborate with functional and technical architects to influence future-state process design. Implementation & Configuration Configure core MM components including: Purchase Requisition / Purchase Order Goods Receipt / Invoice Verification Material Master, Source List, Quota Arrangement Contracts (Quantity and Value), including CMK and WK contract types in Public Cloud. Set up supplier evaluation, central procurement, and self-service requisitioning. Implement Approval Workflows, Output Management, and Flexible Workflows. Public Cloud Specifics Utilize SAP Fiori apps and SSCUI for configuration in public cloud tenants. Ensure compliance with Public Cloud Release Upgrades and manage regression testing. Collaborate with SAP Activate methodology for deliverables across all phases. Data Migration Own and lead the Data Migration strategy and execution for MM master and transactional data. Work with tools like Migrate Your Data app, Staging Tables, and LTMC/LCMBI (if applicable). Ensure successful load and reconciliation of: Material Master Vendor Master (Business Partner) Purchase Contracts, POs, Source List, Info Records Testing & Validation Lead integration testing cycles across MM-FI, MM-SD, and MM-WM (if applicable) scenarios. Develop Test Scripts, Business Process Flows, and support UAT. Validate tax configurations, output determination, and integration points. Project & Stakeholder Leadership Act as functional lead in MM/Sourcing stream during implementation and rollout phases. Mentor and review work of junior consultants and support team knowledge sharing. Manage business stakeholder relationships, conduct workshops, and steer functional decision-making. Preferred Certifications (Nice to have; not mandatory): SAP Certified Application Associate – Sourcing and Procurement in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) Location: Work from Office / Hybrid Travel Requirement: As per project needs
