Job Title: SAP ABAP Technical Lead / Solution Architect Experience:** 8+ years Job Description: Lead the SAP ABAP technical track by designing high-performance solutions, defining technical architecture, and guiding a team of developers. Should have deep experience across S/4HANA, BTP, and cloud integrations. Key Responsibilities • Lead SAP custom development across modules (SD, MM, FICO, PP, HR, PM, etc.). • Architect robust solutions using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and OData services. • Design Clean Core strategies and guide selective transformation for cloud-readiness. • Govern WRICEF objects, performance optimization, and scalable architecture. • Lead code and architecture reviews for SAP development projects. • Collaborate with functional/technical teams on end-to-end implementations, upgrades, S/4HANA migrations. • Guide the adoption of SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, and event-driven architectures. • Manage technical workstreams, resource planning, and delivery in global SAP rollouts. • Create technical documentation, architecture blueprints, reusable frameworks, and knowledge assets. • Mentor and train L1L3 consultants to build high-performing delivery teams. Required Skills • 8+ years hands-on SAP ABAP experience across modules. • Deep understanding of: o Classical & OO ABAP, o Enhancements (BADIs, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit), o Adobe Forms, SmartForms, o Reports (ALV, Interactive), Interfaces (RFC, IDoc, Proxy). • Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, SQL performance tuning). • Advanced OData services development for Fiori/UI5 or 3rd-party integration. • Experience in building apps using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming). • Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform, BTP, Integration Suite basics. • Familiarity with S/4HANA migration tools, clean code, and extensibility frameworks. • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 or managing frontend-backend full-stack development. • Exposure to SAP CAP, Event Mesh, or Integration Suite. • Expertise in handling client-facing roles and pre-sales solutioning. • Agile, DevOps & CI/CD practices in SAP development. • Knowledge of Git-based version control and modern SAP DevOps practices. • SAP certification(s) in ABAP, HANA, or BTP (preferred). Ideal Candidate Profile • Proven experience as lead ABAP consultant or technical architect on at least 23 large-scale S/4 HANA projects . • Ability to translate business vision into scalable, secure SAP architecture. • Strong presentation, documentation, and client interaction skills. • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset — stays ahead with emerging SAP trends. • Comfortable leading delivery teams and collaborating with CXOs, PMs, and product owners
