Company Name: Kalyani GroupJob Role: SAP Consultant (Production Planning) Experience: 4+ Years Location: Bharat Forge, Mundhwa, Pune Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled SAP Consultant specializing in Production Planning (PP), with significant domain expertise in the forging industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing SAP solutions across multiple cycles, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and best practices.Responsibilities:Implement SAP PP module to optimize production processes with discrete & repetitive mfg. with MTS and MTO, Planning and scheduling process.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and IT to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute implementations.Configure SAP modules based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.Lead workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities for end-users and stakeholders.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of SAP solutions.Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful deployment of SAP modules.Stay updated with SAP advancements, industry trends, and evolving business needs to propose and implement continuous improvements.Mentor junior consultants and team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment.Should analyse the data and create value added insights to the management team.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.Strong knowledge on production, Production planning and scheduling.5-10 years of progressive experience as an SAP Consultant, specializing in SAP PP module.Extensive domain knowledge and hands-on experience in the forging industry, understanding specific manufacturing processes, quality standards, and maintenance requirements.Proven track record of leading 3 or more full-cycle SAP implementations, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.SAP certification in PP module is preferred.Experience in S/4HANA implementations and knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD,CO,PM &QM) is a plus.
