ql-editor "> SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant Position Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant with 5 to 6 years of experience in BASIS administration and support. The candidate should be proficient in managing SAP landscapes, ensuring optimal system performance, and troubleshooting BASIS-related issues. The ideal candidate is an immediate joiner , and having project management skills will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, upgrade, and configuration of SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and SAP Fiori. Manage system landscapes and perform client administration , including system copies, refreshes, and client imports. Monitor and maintain system performance , including tuning SAP systems for high availability and reliability. Manage transport requests across SAP environments and ensure seamless change management. Implement and maintain security measures , including user management, role creation, and authorizations. Conduct system health checks , monitor logs, and ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues. Configure and manage SAP HANA databases , including backups, recovery, and performance optimization. Provide SAP system integration support , including middleware (PI/PO/CPI) and external system connections. Work closely with functional and technical teams to resolve performance and technical issues. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for SAP systems, configurations, and procedures. Support go-live activities and ensure smooth system operations post-implementation. Utilize project management skills to plan and execute BASIS-related tasks efficiently and within timelines. Key Requirements 5-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, including at least 2 S/4HANA implementations or migrations . Proficiency in SAP system installation, patching, upgrades, and maintenance. Expertise in HANA database administration , performance tuning, and backups. Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration with other modules and systems. Experience in managing SAP systems in both on-premise and cloud environments . Proficiency in using SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and system management. Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery configurations. Experience in SAML, SSL certificates , and secure system connections. Ability to manage and troubleshoot transport requests, background jobs , and spool issues. Familiarity with Fiori setup and administration . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills for collaborating with functional teams and end-users. Immediate joiner is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications Certification in SAP BASIS or S/4HANA Technical Administration . Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and hybrid landscapes. Experience in managing SAP systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP . Project management experience, including planning, risk assessment, and team coordination.
