Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary School Principal to lead our Grade 1-10 school, including our Kindergarten STEM program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of instructional leadership, community engagement, and administrative expertise. Key Responsibilities: Instructional Leadership 1. Develop and implement a comprehensive school improvement plan that aligns with the school's mission and vision. 2. Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and creativity. 3. Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve instructional practices. Administrative Responsibilities 1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities management. 2. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive learning environment. 3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Community Engagement 1. Build and maintain relationships with parents, community members, and local businesses. 2. Develop and implement strategies to engage parents and the community in school activities. 3. Foster partnerships with local organizations to enhance educational opportunities for students. STEM Program Leadership 1. Develop and implement a comprehensive STEM program that aligns with the school's mission and vision. 2. Provide leadership and support for STEM teachers and programs. 3. Foster partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance STEM educational opportunities. Requirements: Education and Experience 1. Master's degree in Education or a related field. 2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a school principal or administrator. 3. Experience in a STEM school or program preferred. Skills and Qualifications 1. Strong instructional leadership and coaching skills. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to develop and implement strategic plans. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Experience with budgeting and financial management. 6. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Preferred Qualifications: STEM Experience 1. Experience in developing and implementing STEM programs. 2. Knowledge of STEM curriculum and instructional practices. Leadership Experience 1. Experience in leading and managing a school or educational organization. 2. Proven track record of improving student achievement and academic performance. Community Engagement 1. Experience in building and maintaining relationships with parents and the community. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
