Job Purpose: The Scrum Master will work as part of the MDM & Data Analytics teams and will be focused on enabling the Data Team and the Product Owners to deliver Data Products using a Hybrid Agile approach. The Scrum Master will ensure that the cadence of sprint is followed by using Agile practices. Data Products will need to be produced, ensuring completeness, accuracy and quality delivery according to agreed service levels. All documentation produced will also need to be peer reviewed. The Scrum Master will be responsible for allocating work to the team and ensure delivery to the roadmap defined. Job Description Promote and educate the team in the use of Scrum practices in a Hybrid Agile Programme Set up scrum boards, manage sprint planning, manage sprint stand ups, lead Retrospectives, manage backlog, manage velocity Maintain and report team and scrum performance Work with Product Owners to agree the scope of each sprint and maintain a backlog Remove impediments to deliveries by identifying any dependencies Peer reviews of all documentation and release notes that are produced Facilitate release planning workshops Resolve conflict Maintain and administrate the use of Confluence to retain all documentation Qualifications Skills and Experience: 3+ years experience of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and Framework 1+ year Confluence experience Strong knowledge of cloud platforms e.g. Azure, AWS Jira experience Master Data Management (MDM) experience Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., ETL tools) and data profiling and cleansing and reporting tools (e.g. MS Power BI) Familiarity with Cloud Platforms e.g. Azure and AWS Planning and Decision Making: Responsible for setting up the Sprint Board Responsible for organising Sprints Undertaking all sprint planning (Daily, weekly) with team members Assisting on creation of User Stories in Sprint Running Sprint calls Running Retrospectives Reporting on Sprint performance Impact and Scope: Sprint planning is important to the delivery of Data Products and a regular cadence needs to be set up to achieve success The Sprints will need to be delivered in accordance with the programme roadmap Key Internal and External Relationships: Data & Analytics Director Senior Programme Manager Transformation Technical Teams Data & Analytics Team
