Role: SDET-Java, Selenium Hyderabad- Hybrid Job Description Senior QA Engineer (Java, Selenium, API Testing) Overview: We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 8+ years of experience in automation testing , specializing in Java, Selenium, and API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, software quality assurance, and CI/CD integration. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver . Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools to validate backend services. Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and work with DevOps teams to streamline testing workflows. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for web applications and APIs. Debug and troubleshoot automation test failures, working closely with developers to resolve issues. Maintain test frameworks and enhance automation capabilities using best practices . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Required Skills: Java – Strong programming skills for automation scripting. Selenium WebDriver – Expertise in automating web applications. API Testing – Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or similar API testing tools . Test Automation – Knowledge of frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber . CI/CD Integration – Experience with Jenkins, Git, or similar tools. Performance & Security Testing – Basic understanding of tools like JMeter, LoadRunner (preferred). Agile & SDLC – Experience working in Agile environments with tools like JIRA .
