Your new trajectory starts here at Launch. What we are looking for: We are looking for SDET for one of our internal projects. Strong expertise in Katalon Studio for building modular, composable automated tests. Role: SDET Location: Hyderabad Shift timings: Overlapping US hours Years of experience : 10+ Years of experience Technologies: Katalon Studio, API Testing, Postman, Java, Selenium, Framework development Skills: Experience with functional and API test automation with Katalon Studio. Good knowledge on unit testing frameworks like TestNG/Junit. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Katalons integrated API testing framework. Strong understanding of software testing best practices, including test case design, test execution, and defect management. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects (SA), Business Analysts (BA), and Technical Project Managers (TPM). Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket/Git/Azure DevOps. Candidates with strong consulting background will be preferred. Must have: Experience in Functional and Integration testing. Strong programming skills in Java. Deep understanding of test automation frameworks, and experience in testing both frontend and backend components. Proficiency in creating reusable, scalable, and maintainable automated test suites that integrate with CI/CD pipelines. Experience in Database testing. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain modular test cases in Katalon Studio, ensuring they can be composed into larger, reusable test suites. Automate complex functional, API, and mobile test cases using Katalon and Appium, ensuring high test coverage for critical application areas. Collaborate closely with the SA, BA, TPM, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-complexity test scenarios, focusing on critical business logic. Continuously optimize and refactor automated test suites to improve performance, stability, and coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing during development and deployment. Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution to maintain high product quality. Provide technical guidance and support to other QA team members in building complex, composable automated tests.
