Job Description

As an SEO/SEM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our SEO strategies. You’ll work closely with content, marketing, and product development teams to improve our search rankings, drive traffic, and enhance user engagement. This is a highly analytical and strategic role, ideal for someone passionate about SEO trends and techniques and it includes managing on-page SEO and off-page SEO activities, optimizing keywords and phrases, link building and analyzing web analytics data. Key Responsibilities: Formulate a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings, traffic, and conversion rates. Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify target keywords, trends, and growth opportunities. Optimize website content, metadata, and internal linking to improve keyword relevancy. Collaborate with content creators and digital marketing teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility. Plan and implement link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority and site visibility. Track SEO performance through analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), assess the effectiveness of strategies, and provide actionable insights. Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings. Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience. Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO and industry trends to ensure best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an SEO manager or a similar SEO-focused role. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors. Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc. Proven experience in keyword research, on-page, and off-page optimization. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting. Familiarity with content management systems and website optimisation platforms. Certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot Inbound Marketing are added advantages. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
