Job Title: Senior Academic Counselor Location: Calicut, Kerala Company: Sterling Study Abroad Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹32,000 per month (based on experience and performance) Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in the Study Abroad industry Job Description: Sterling Study Abroad is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Academic Counselor to join our team in Calicut. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in guiding students through the overseas education process and possess strong interpersonal and counseling skills. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students regarding study abroad options, including course, university, and country selection. Guide students through the complete admission process, including application documentation, visa guidance, and interview preparation. Stay updated with current trends and changes in international education systems, visa procedures, and entry requirements. Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely follow-ups. Build strong relationships with partner universities and institutions abroad. Achieve individual and team targets within deadlines. Train and mentor junior counselors as required. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in the study abroad or overseas education consultancy field is mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Malayalam. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Bachelor's degree in any discipline (education background preferred).
