Job Title: Senior accounts executive (Accounts & Tax) Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India Reporting To: Manager / Head – Finance & Accounts Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to support and manage the organization’s accounting and taxation functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting audit and regulatory requirements. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Accounts: Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate posting of entries. Review and finalize books of accounts (monthly, quarterly, yearly). Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Ensure timely closure of books and reporting to senior management. Oversee bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny. Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, vendor payments, and invoicing. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Taxation: Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-7, GSTR-8, GSTR-9/9C, etc.). Handle TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and return filing. Prepare data for income tax return filing and coordinate with consultants. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure organizational compliance. Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST. Prepare necessary reports and documentation for internal and external audits. Assist in implementation of internal controls and process improvements. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance CA/ CA Inter / CMA/ CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred Experience: 3–6 years of experience in core accounting and taxation Prior experience in handling GST, TDS, and finalization of accounts is mandatory Candidates with Manufacturing industry experience (preferred) Skills: Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, GST & Income Tax regulations Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (experience with mybizz erp / zoho books / SAP / Netsuite / Xero / Quickbooks - anyone is required) Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Attributes: Experience in working with a mid-size or large organization Ability to work independently and lead a small team Exposure to handling audits and dealing with consultants Co-ordination with Clients & Departments Show more Show less
