Job Overview The TE strategy team is highly meritocratic, values diversity, invests significant resources in the professional development of its members, and has a track record of promoting them to more strategy roles as well as general management roles. This team is regarded as a training ground for many of TEs leadership roles. TE Connectivity's Corporate Strategy Team develops long-range objectives and strategic plans by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability. They support the creation and implementation of business plans, strategy, and initiatives to meet customer's and business needs. The Corporate Strategy team shapes TEs portfolio composition and competitive strategy by being an advisor to the CEO and the top leadership team. TEs Strategy team is global and collaborates closely in tight-knit teams to solve complex growth challenges that unlock value creation. TE Connectivity's Chief Strategy Officer is originally from India. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate within corporate strategy and with business unit teams to solve complex business problems Translate business requests into well-defined problems Perform FTAM (Future Total Addressable Market) assessments to identify new growth areas that determine where we will play and how can we win Develop growth strategies for existing/new markets and product lines across business units Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses Create analytical models and business cases to address key business questions and translate output into clear findings and recommendations Support the successful development and deployment of the annual strategy development process and Board of Directors review Conceptualize and determine portfolio rationalization/prioritization initiatives to improve our profitability Support with MA target identification and due diligence Desired Candidate Profile: MBA or another advanced degree from a top program is desirable 2-3 years of experience with a top tier General Management Consulting Firm, with a focus on high tech or diversified industrials clients, is preferred but not required. International experience or exposure a plus Experience creating presentations and communicating ideas and plans Excellent with MS-Excel and MS-PPT; proficiency in data analytics suite (Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus Track record of demonstrated leadership potential through academics, work, and/or community activities Strong sense of tact, confidentiality, and maturity
